Bob Harvey is sometimes keen to respond to emails even though they’re not addressed to him:

Someone has been kind enough to forward me your self congratulatory email sent to your riot squad mates. I want to tell you how pleased I was at the decision of George Wood. At least here is a mayor with some guts and vision and a truly decent bloke. This council will also be a major player in the future of Whenuapai and for all of you who bought houses in the area and then started to pray for closure, I wouldn’t hold your breath. At least there is some sanity out there. Any way, I don’t want to keep you from your frenzied whipping up the dervishes. After all, we’ve got to have some fun in this life.
